The Royal Me is a Boston-based indie rock band that blends guitar-heavy grit with (somewhat) melodic pop instincts. Active since before you were going to shows, the band's sound leans into texture and tone. The Royal Me is fuzzed-out, hook-laden, and lyrically sharp and armed with a loose confidence that is a little hard to believe.

The current lineup features vocalist/guitarist F Englander, guitarist T Willits, drummer R Dawley, and bassist B O'Brien. Together, they channel a shared love of unpretentious indie rock built on strong songs rather than algorithm filler.

In 2025, The Royal Me released five singles and a 15-song LP, The End of Wishing for Numbered Days, earning airplay on WMBR 88.1, WMFO 91.5, WTJU 91.1, and multiple internet radio stations and curated playlists. Known for tight, sometimes sweaty live sets, the band continues to focus on writing, releasing, and playing music on their own terms.
